Abstract

Polygamy is one of the problems in marriage that is most highlighted by the people of Indonesia as well as considered controversial. The issue of polygamy is one of the issues regulated in Indonesian marriage law. In principle, marriage is a mental bond between a man and a woman as a husband and wife with the aim of forming a family. The establishment of the Marriage Law in Article 3, on the one hand applying the principle of monogamy, but in the next verse opened the opportunity for husbands to propose polygamy. Renewal of the Marriage Law can be interpreted as an effort and deed through a certain process with full seriousness committed by the government who have competence and authority in the development of Marriage Law in ways that have been specified based on the rules of law.

Abstract

This study examines the subject of folklore "Lutung Kasarung" by Ki Raksa Sunda. The purpose of this study is to describe the didactic values contained in the folklore. The descriptive method used is to describe the level of didactic values in accordance with the educational criteria. The result of research that the most dominant didactic value in folklore "Lutung Kasarung" is the value of personality development (love, tolerance), humanity and society (please-help, obedience or obedience, conference), and religious values (faith, greed, character).

Abstract

This study aims to know, examine and analyze the influence of leadership role and commitment to job satisfaction in Vocational High School (SMK) Serang City, Serang District and Tanggerang District. The method used in this research is quantitative method of research sample using random sampling at 121 population with 92 respondents. Instrument test results show all statements of the three variables are declared valid. Analysis of verification using path analysis method (Path Analysis). The result of this research conclude that there are positive and significant influence of leadership role to job satisfaction, and there is positive and significant influence of Commitment to job satisfaction. Coefficient Determination (R2) value of leadership role and commitment to job satisfaction equal to 0,445% or 45,5%. And the value outside the model (errovar) of 0.555% or 55.5%.

Abstract

The focus of the problem in this study examines the effectiveness of academic management systems in vocational schools in the city of Bandung. In this case, the effectiveness of the academic management system can be determined by the information system used by schools (hardware, software, databases, networks and HR) and. This study aims to determine and analyze the description of the information system, and the effectiveness of the school's academic management system, as well as measuring the magnitude of the effect of the Information System and on the Effectiveness of the Academic Management System of Schools in Vocational Schools in the City of Bandung. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with survey methods. This research design is grouped into descriptive and verification research to analyze the causality relationship between the variables studied. The sample in this study was 77 CBK in the City of Appeal. Primary data sources were obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to 385 respondents (principals, teachers, and laboratory assistants). The results of the descriptive analysis show that overall Information Systems (Hardware, Software, Databases, Networks, and Human Resources) in Vocational Schools in the City of Bandung are included in the category of adequate. Included in the category have been well implemented, while the school's academic management system cannot be said to be effective. Information systems positively and significantly affect. Information Systems and positively and significantly affect the Effectiveness of the School Academic Management System. Overall, the school should have a computer-based academic information system application that can integratedly manage the school's academic administration orderly, supported by adequate infrastructure or computer infrastructure in accordance with their respective functions (hardware, software, databases, networks). Good planning and the creation of realistic implementation stages will be more successful and the benefits will be felt rather than plans that are too high but difficult to implement both because of the lack of funding and resources, especially human resources. All of this continues to be evaluated in order to improve the effectiveness of the school's academic management system.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the information content of the announcement of dividend distribution that can be reflected by the abnormal return arising from market reaction. Announcement of dividend distribution is divided into dividends increases and dividend decreases. The market reaction can be measured by using abnormal return as the value of the price change. This study using event study approach and observation of the abnormal return for 21 days, 10 days before the announcement, one day at the time of the announcement and 10 days after the announcement. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study used a sample of 43 companies comprising of 26 companies that pay cash dividends increases and 17 companies that pay cash dividends decreases. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling method. The data used in this study includes data of companies that pay cash dividends that are listed in the stock group LQ 45 period February 2014 to January 2015. To calculate the expected return using the Market Adjusted Model. The statistical tool that researcher use is one sample t-test, paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is a significant abnormal return in the dividend announcement from company that increasing dividend on t-7, t-2, and t0 all reacted positively while for the company that decreasing dividend there is also a significant abnormal return on a t-7, t0, & t+3 all of which reacts negatively with a significance level of 10%. (2) There is a difference of abnormal return before and after the dividend announcement for company that increasing dividend and there is no difference of abnormal return before and after the dividend announcement for a company that decreasing dividend.(3) There is a difference of abnormal return before the dividend announcement for a company that increasing dividend and for a company that decreasing dividend and (4) There is no difference of abnormal return after the announcement dividend for company that increasing dividend and for company that decreasing dividend. So it can be conclude investors react in the moments before the announcement of the dividend, reacted positively to the dividend increases and reacted negatively to dividend decreases.

Abstract

Real-life viewing as a practice for prospective teachers is not automatically and instantly formet, but supported by various factors including field conditions (classes and students), mastery of materials, methods, models, technigues, tactics and supported by media, tools, relevant sources and can give alternative constructive-supportive solutions, mental preparedness. Skills and abilities of performance to support professional training program. The puporse of the research is to find the difference of creative thinking ability to teach profession training program that uses and does not use cooperative learning model of STAD technique on the curriculum study subject of teaching planning (micro practice). The method used in this research is guasi experiment method with descriptive survey, fiel study, instrumental, and literature study. The population of 5 classed with 151 people, systematic sampling technique taken random, distance from 2 experimental class with 32 people, and 2 control classes with 31 people. The data analysis technique used is t tes with the real level α = 0,05 using SPSS version 16,0 for windowns. The results of this study indicate thet there is a difference in the ability of creative thinking teaching on the class that uses and does not use the cooperative learning model of STAD technique on the curriculum study subject of teaching planning (micro practice), so the increase in the profession training program at school is 30,7%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of community empowerment conducted by Koperasi Peternak Garut Selatan (KPGS) on labor absorption and productivity, especially in cooperative working areas. In this study the authors used descriptive explanatory method with respondents of 94 members of KPGS. The results of data processing shows that the empowerment variable has a positive effect on the variable of labor absorption and productivity variables.

Abstract

The provincial roads maintenance and repair are often constrained by limited budgets, so that the road management priority is generally determined by policy factors, which often cause roads treatment disparity. The purpose of this study was to determine the criteria and sub-criteria, the weights of criteria and sub-criteria, as well as develop a mathematical equation in order to determine to roads handling priority in the area of Purwakarta, West Java. Tha Delphi and Cut Off Point methods were applied to determine the criteria, which result in three criteria selected i.e. road condition, traffic volume and economic factors, respectively. Afterward, the Analytical Hierarchy Process was used to determine the weighting factors for the criteria and sub-criteria. The results for the criteria weights were as follows: the roads conditions had a weighting factor of 67.7%; the traffic volume of 18.3%; and the economi of 13.0%. Based on the criteria and sub-criteria weight, a mathematical equation was develop to define the handling priority of roads in Purwakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to obtain empirical evidence through data analysis on the influence of training and skills on the businesses success of PT Karya Masyarakat Mandiri Dompet Dhuafa Republika fostered partner in the Jakarta Region. The research method used in this research is descriptive and verification method with a quantitative approach and uses multiple linear regression analysis. Data collection techniques used were observation on 6 fostered partners in the Jakarta Region, 50 respondents through questionnaires equipped with interviews. The results showed that both partially and simultaneously between training and skills had a positive effect on business success. This means that the better the training and skills of the fostered partners, will be successful the business. As well as the most dominant influenced to business success is skill, meaning that with good skills, business success automatically increases.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) to reveal descriptions of work motivation and employee’s performance of the Regional West Java Land Office, 2) to test hypothesis of the relationships and influences among work motivation and employee’s performance.The type of this research are descriptive and verificative research. The method used of this research is survey method.Sample size are 219 employees of the Regional West Java Land Office who are sampled by proportional stratified random sampling method. The data used in this research were primary data collected by questioners. The analysis method used in this research are descriptive and hypothesis testing analysis with the analysis tool using the structural equation modeling ( SEM ) and processed by LISREL 8.51 ( Linier Structural Relationship ) programme 8.51 for windows software. The results of descriptive analysis indicate that the work motivation and employee’s performance were categorized ‘good’, however work motivation still needs to be improved. Based on the results of hypothesis testing indicate that there was positive and significant relationship between the independent variables It means have positive sinergy with work motivation to increase employee’s performance in the Regional West Java Land Office. Based on descriptive and verificative analysis, it is necessary to recommend that decision makers of the Regional West Java Land Office have to determine policies on developing human resources,on the work motivation therefore in turn it will effect on employee’s performance improvement.
